1/4 cup corn oil
1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp each salt & pepper
3 lbs chicken pieces
1 cup vermouth
1 onion, sliced
1/2 tsp each basil & rosemary
1 T dried parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, salt & pepper in medium bowl and coat chicken pieces; brown in hot corn oil in a skillet about 10 minutes.
Add to skillet the vermouth, onion, basil & rosemary and 1 cup water or chicken broth and simmer covered for 45 minutes.
Top with dried parsley.
