2 T corn oil
1 onion, sliced
2 garlic cloves, chopped
3 lbs chicken pieces
1 16 oz can tomatoes, cut up
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks
1 2 oz can mushroom pieces
2 bay leaves
2 tsp dried oregano or basil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp rosemary
1/4 cup white wine

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet heat corn oil and cook onions & garlic about 3 minutes, remove & set aside.
Add more oil if needed and brown chicken pieces about 15 minutes-return onion to pan.
In large bowl combine tomatoes, sauce, bell pepper,mushrooms, bay leaves and seasonings and pour over chicken in skillet.
Cover and simmer 30 minutes; stir in wine and cook uncovered over low heat 15 minutes more, turning chicken pieces occasionally.
Serve with rice or noodles.
