"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
1 lb. ground beef 1 lb. not pork sausage 1 box Velveeta cheese 1 jar 8 oz. salsa 1 bag nacho chips
Brown ground beef and sausage in skillet. Drain. Place in crock pot. Add salsa. Cut cheese into cubes then add. Cook on high approximately one hour stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low. For extra spicy sprinkle with red habanero peppers. Put nacho chips in separate bowl and serve.
A friend gave me this recipe several years ago knowing that I am not much of a cook. It's extremely easy and my children always request it for holidays.
