1 ham bone with some meat 1 lb. dried butter beans, large 1 lb. sliced okra 1 onion, chopped
Pick beans, wash and cover with water; soak overnight. Boil ham bone, remove meat and add back to broth. Drain beans, add to meat add broth, add water if needed. Add chopped onion and okra. Bring to boil, reduce heat, cook till done about 2 hrs. Serve with corn bread and hot pepper.
