2/3 cup of shortening
4 eggs
2/3 cup of water
2 2/3 cup of sugar
1 16oz. can of pumpkin
3 1/3 cup of self-rising flour
1 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of soda
2/3 cup of pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening and sugar and blend in eggs, pumpkin and water. Sift in flour and dry ingredients. Stir in pecans. Pour into 2 loaf pans and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
