1 med. onion, chopped
1/4 c. cooking oil
1 lb. ground beef
salt and pepper to taste
8 oz. can english peas, drained
8 oz. can sliced carrots, drained
1 can tomato soup
5 med. potatoes, cooked
1/2 c. warm milk
1 egg, beaten
dash of celery salt

Cook onion in hot oil until golden; stir in beef, salt and pepper. Place in 10 inch pie pan. Add peas, carrots and tomato soup. Mash potatoes; stir in milk and egg. Stir in celery salt, salt and pepper; spoon over pie. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cream of mushroom or celery soup may be substituted for the tomato soup.
