Strawberry Pie Recipe

1 quart strawberries sliced
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup + a heaping tablespoon of cornstarch
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup kero syrup
1 Family sized strawberry Jello
2 cups water
Cool Whip
1 frozen pie shells

Bake pie shells and allow to cool.

Mix water, salt, cornstarch, sugar, and kero cook until clear. Add jello and mix. Add strawberries and pour into pie shells

Refrigerate until set then top with Cool Whip.
