2 cups sugar
1/4 cup margarine/butter
1/2 cup milk
3 tablespoons cocoa
3 cups quick cooking oats
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 to 1 cup nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Put sugar, milk and cocoa in pan. Bring to a boil. Cook one minute. Remove from heat. Quickly add oats, peanut butter, margarine, vanilla and nuts. Stir well. Drop about a teaspoon at a time on wax paper. Let set one half hour or until dry.
