14 lbs figs
7 lbs sugar
1 lemon

Directions:
Directions:
Wash figs and cut off stems and place in large enamel pan. Layer figs and sugar and let sit in pan overnight. Bring to hard boil; stir as needed; turn down heat; and simmer for hour and 45 minutes. Put in jars and seal.
