1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. pumpkin
3/4 c. chocolate chips
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Grease loaf pan. Sift together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves. Cream butter in large mixing bowl. Gradually add sugar, beating with mixer until light and fluffy. Add vanilla. Blend in eggs and beat well. At low speed add dry ingredients alternating and ending with pumpkin. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread in pan. Bake at 350º for 60 - 70 minutes. or until cake springs back when touched lightly in center. Let cool for 15 mins. Remove from pan. Let stand for 6 hours before serving.
