3 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 1/4 t. BP
1 t. salt
2 t. cinnamon
1/4 t. cloves
1 1/4 c. raisins
1 c. nuts
12 oz dried apricots, about 1 c. chopped
1 c. cherries
1 T. orange peel
1/2 c. lemon peel
1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 c. citron
1 c. grape jelly
1 1/2 c. shortening
2 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
5 eggs

300 3 1/2-4 hours tube cake, 2 1/2 - 3 hours loaf
Sift dry ingredients together. Combine fruits and nuts. Beat orange peel, juice and jelly together in bowl. Beat shortening, sugar and egg till fluffy.
Add dry mixed and juice, stir in fruits.
Cool completely in the pan.
