3 cups Quaker Oats
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup boiling water
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup flour
1 cup butter
1 tsp soda

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the quaker oats with the sugar and flour; add melted butter and mix well. Dissolve soda in boiling water and add to mixture. Form the dough into a roll and chill thoroughly. Slice thin and bake in oven 5 to 10 minutes

Oven 325 degrees
