1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped apples
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Topping:
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Make in a saucepan by melting butter over moderate heat. Remove from heat and beat in sugar, egg and vanilla with a wooden spoon until smooth. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Spread into a greased 8 X 8 pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar topping. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes.
