Crunchy Caramel Apple Pie Recipe

1 pie crust
1/2 cup sugar
3 Tbs flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt
6 cups thinly sliced apples
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup caramel ice cream topping

Crumb topping:
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup quick cooking oats
1/2 cup butter

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, stir together sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt. Add apples and gently toss. Transfer this mixture into a ready to bake pie crust.
Crumb topping: Stir together all the dry ingredients and then using a pastry blender, cut in the butter. Sprinkle over the apples in the pie crust. To prevent overbrowning, cover edge of pie with foil. Bake in a 375 oven for 25 minutes. Remove foil and then bake for another 25-30 minutes more until the top is golden. Remove from oven and sprinkle pecans on top. Then drizzle with caramel topping. Cool on a wire rack.
