Cake Batter:
1/2 c. Shortening
3/4 c. Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
3 Eggs
2 c. sifted Flour
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 pt. Sour Cream
Filling:
6 tbsp. Butter or Margarine
1 c. Brown Sugar
2 tsp. Cinnamon
1 c. chopped Nuts (optional)

Directions:

Cream Shortening, Sugar and Vanilla together thoroughly. Add Eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Sift
Flour, Baking Powder and Soda together. Add to creamed mixture, alternating with Sour Cream, blending after each addition. Spread half the batter in 10" Tube Pan that has been greased and lined with wax paper, or Bundt Pan that is well greased and floured. Cream Butter, Brown sugar and Cinnamon together; stir in Nuts and mix well. Spread one half of Filling mixture evenly over batter in pan. Cover with remaining batter, sprinkle with remaining sugar mixture. Bake at 350º for about 50 minutes or until done.
