2 C peaches, sliced
1/2 C sugar
1/2 C butter
3/4 C flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 C sugar
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 C milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix peaches with 1/2 cup sugar and set aside. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. put margarine in bottom of deep baking dish and set in oven to melt. Make a batter of remaining ingredients and pour over melted margarine-do not stir. Put peaches on top of batter, again; do not stir. bake until crust is light brown and puffy, approximately 35 to 45 minutes. Blueberries may be used instead of peaches. If fresh fruit is not available use only frozen. Serves 6.
