1 large box vanilla wafers (2/3 box is best)
2 C sifted powdered sugar
1/2 C softened butter
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
3 egg yolks, reserve whites
1/2 C chopped nuts
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 carton nut ice cream

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate and butter over low heat. Add sugar, egg yolks, vanilla, Beat whites until stiff and add to chocolate mix- fold in nuts Pour half of crushed vanilla wafers into 9 x 13 inch pan. Cover with chocolate mixture Slice ice cream, cover chocolate and sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Cover with plastic top. Freeze at least 24 hours.
