1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp pepper
1 chicken 3 to 4 pounds
1/4 c. vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
n a large plastic bag, combine the flour, salt and pepper. Add chicken, a few pieces at a time, and shake to coat. In a large skillet, heat oil. Brown chicken in oil on all sides; remove to paper towels. Drain drippings and return chicken to the pan.
Sauce:
2/3 c. lemon juice
2/3 c. ketchup
2/3 c. molasses
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
In a bowl, combine sauce ingredients .. Pour over chicken. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 35-40 minutes or until chicken juices run clear. Serve with rice.
