1 packet active dry yeast
1 cup warm water
2T. light olive oil
1T. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2T. chopped chives
1 T. chopped parsley
1 tsp. dill seed
2 1/2 to 3 cups unbleached flour

Directions:
SOFTEN yeast in 1 cup warm water
STIR in olive oil, sugar, salt, chives, parsley & dill seed.
GRADUALLY ADD 2 1/2 to 3 cups flour to form stiff dough. COVER.
LET RISE..in warm place(85 to 90º) until light & doubled in size, about 1 hour.
DIVIDE dough into 4 parts. Roll out one part on floured surface to an 8 inch square.
CUT into four 2 inch strips. Roll along 8 inch side to form bread sticks. Place on greased baking sheet. Brush with slightly beaten egg. Sprinkle with salt & caraway seed. Repeat process with remaining dough.
LET RISE in warm place until light, 30 to 45 minutes.
BAKE in 400º oven 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
