3 c. sugar
2/3 c. White Karo Syrup
1/2 c. water
2 lg. egg whites beaten stiff
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, syrup and water in saucepan on stove. Keep mixing up well. Using a candy thermometer let it cook and stir until it reaches 265.º While the mixture is cooking go ahead and beat egg whites stiff! Then pour mixture into egg whites and keep right on mixing until it gets real thick. Pour in vanilla flavoring and pecans. Spoon out onto wax paper. Let it cool!
