2 bags lettuce, any kind
About 1 cup or less finely chopped green onion
1 c. (2 packages) toasted slivered almonds
2 large cans mandarin oranges, drained

Basic Dressing:
1 cup oil
1/3 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 T, poppy seeds
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt

Do not mix dressing with salad until ready to eat.
