1st part
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
Boil until forms a soft ball in cold water.

2nd part
3 c. sugar,1/4 c. water, 1 cup white karo. Boil until it cracks in cold water.

3rd part
beat 3 egg whites and a pinch of salt until stiff add first part and keep beating until 2nd part is ready. Add second part and continue beating until it starts to follow the spoon away from the bowl and has spongy texture.Add nuts and vanilla pour into greased cookie sheet.

Best not to make this on a rainy day. It has a tendency to be sticky.
