Ingredients:  
1 cup raisins cooked in 1/1/2 Cup water, (use microwave) drain off ½ cup of the water
after the raisins cook add ½ cup butter to the raisins stir until melted. Add:
1cup sugar
1 tsp cloves
2 cup flour
1 cup nuts
½ tsp cinnamon
1 egg
½ tsp nutmeg

Directions:

Mix ingredients well and pour into greased 9/13 pan. Bake at 350 for 20 min.

Penuche frosting
Melt ½ cup butter add 1 cup brown sugar, boil 1 minute, add ¼ cup hot milk and beat, slowly add 3 cups powdered sugar mix until smooth. Frost cookies while hot let set for ½ hour so they aren’t so messy, cut into small squares.
