2 eggs
1c.milk
1/2 c. shortening
1tsp vanilla
2 1/2 c. cake flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients in bowl, add shortening, 2/3 c. milk and vanilla. Beat 300 strokes or 2 min. by clock with electric beater on low or med.
Next add eggs and milk 1/2c. Beat 300 strokes again.

375 for 25-35 minutes
