1 8-oz. package elbow macaroni
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 cups half 'n half
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Cook macaroni as the package label directs; drain.
Meanwhile, melt butter in saucepan; remove from heat. Stir in the flour, salt, and pepper until smooth. Gradually stir in half 'n half. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer 1 minute. Remove from heat.

Stir in 1 1/2 cups cheese and macaroni; pour into a greased casserole and sprinkle remaining cheese over top.

Bake 15 to 20 minutes, or until cheese is golden brown.
