1 1/2 c. egg whites (room temperature)
1 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1 c. granulated sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cake flour
1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs until foaming. Add cream of tartar. Beat until stiff but not dry. Add granulated sugar a little at a time. Add salt and vanilla. Sift cake flour and confectioners sugar three times. Sift into egg white mixture and mix. Bake in tube pan 65 minutes at 325º.
