1 c. sugar
1 c. 7-UP
4 tbsp. cornstarch
1 quart fresh picked strawberries
Red food color (optional)

Topping:
3 oz. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
cool whip
Directions:
Directions:
Clean berries & pat dry.
Boil sugar, 7-Up, & cornstarch. Add food color if desired. Set aside to gel.
Add strawberries. Add to baked pie crust.
Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar & cool whip to thicken. Put topping over strawberry mixture. Refrigerate & serve.
