4 C sliced apples
1/2 C sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 C nuts
1 egg
1/3 C evaporated milk
3 T water
1/2 C melted butter
1 C flour
1 C sugar
3/4 C sugar
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

Put first 4 ingredients in an ungreased 9X9 pan. Beat egg and add next 3 ingredients. Sift together dry ingredients and add to mixture. Pour batter over apple mixture and bake for 1 hour at 350. Serve warm with cream or ice cream.
