1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 can corn, drained
1 cup ripe olives, sliced
1 cup water
1/2 cup corn meal

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef. Add onion, bell pepper, celery, chili powder, pepper, salt tomatoes, corn, olives. Place in oven-proof dish. Mix water and corn meal, spread over top. Bake one hour at 350º.

Grandmother fixed this when Granddad was in Seminary in Ft. Worth and she worked full-time with lots of over-time for the Tandy Corporation that had just purchased Leonard's Department Stores.
