2 lbs sliced yellow squash
1 medium sized onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
garlic powder to taste (optional)
3 tsp. butter
1 cup Waverly Wafers cracker crumbs
1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese, divided use
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Cook squash and onion in shallow water in microwave until tender; drain. Add remaining ingredients, reserving half of the cheese. Blend well. Place in large casserole dish and add remaining cheese on top. Bake for 30 minutes at 350º.
