1 3-oz. box lime Jello
3/4 c. sugar
1 small can crushed pineapple (approx. 1 cup)
1 pt. whipping cream
1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Bring Jello, sugar and pineapple to a boil, then cool.

Whip cream and add cream cheese. Beat together with cooled Jello mixture. Add nuts.

Pour into mold or bowl. Chill until firm.

This original recipe was from Bernadotte neighbor and friend, Donna Webster. After getting the recipe from me, it's now known in my family as the favorite salad that Grandma Betty always makes for holidays!
