1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix 2/3 c. evaporated milk 2/3 c. butter, soft 1 c. chocolate chips 40 caramels
Mix cake mix, butter, and 1/3 c. evaporated milk together. Place half of mixture in a greased 9x13 pan. Bake 6 minutes at 325ºF. Remove from oven. Place chocolate chips over the cake. Melt caramels in 1/3 c. evaporated milk. Spread over cake. Top with remaining half of cake mixture. Bake 20 minutes at 325º.
