1 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp cocoa
1/4 tsp cloves
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup milk
2 Tbsp melted margarine
1 1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
2 cups hot water
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Stir dry ingredients together in a bowl. Add milk, vanilla and margarine and stir until well blended. Pour into a greased 8" square pan. Mix brown sugar and cocoa and sprinkle over batter. Pour hot water evenly over surface of batter in pan. Bake for 40-45 minutes. Serve with ice cream.
