1 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 stick butter
8 oz. pkg cream cheese
1 can cherry pie filling
1 c. powdered sugar
3/4 c. chopped pecans (if desire)
1 small container whipped topping

Directions:
Directions:
Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter together in a 8x9 inch baking dish. Press to bottom of dish. Bake at 325º for 10 minutes. Set aside and let cool

Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and whipped topping until smooth. Spread over cold crust. Sprinkle with chopped pecans. Spread cherry pie filling. Refrigerate.

Thanks to grandma I used to fix this cheesecake for dad, and set it outside the door of his apartment. He would come home after a long day at work & find cheese cake. I was around twelve. Bec, Deb, John & I would come over to visit & help him eat desert.
