6 Medium potatoes
6 Slices of bacon
3/4 cup chopped onions
2 tsp. flower
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/3 cup vinegar
3/4 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Boil potatoes in skins, peel and slice thinly.
Fry bacon slowly in skillet, drain in paper towels.
In bacon fat saute onions, flower, salt and celery seed. Cook over low heat, stirring until smooth and bubbly,
Remove from heat and add vinegar and water. Bring back to a boil and stir in potatoes and crumbled bits of bacon.
Remove from heat cover and let stand.
Serve hot or cold.
