1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
1 1/4 cups blended oatmeal
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
6 oz. chocolate chips
1 (2oz) Hershey bar (grated)
3/4 cup chopped nuts

Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix together with flour, oatmeal (blended to a fine powder), salt, baking powder, and soda. Add chocolate chips, Hershey bar and nuts. Roll into balls and place 2" apart on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes at 375. Makes 28 cookies.
