1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup syrup
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg slightly beaten

Line muffin tins with pastry. In small saucepan melt 1/2 cup butter. Remove from heat and add ingredients. Bake at 400 till brown and bubbling well.
