1 head cabbage, chopped
1 qt. (approximately) water, boiling
3/4 c. bell pepper, chopped
3/4 c. celery, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
3 T. butter
1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 c. (at least) Cheddar cheese, shredded
2 c. half & half
1 c. bread crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Boil cabbage in water for 5 minutes; drain. Saute bell pepper, celery, and onion in butter; add to cabbage along with the bacon, cheese, and half & half. Put into a 2 quart casserole and top with crumbs. Bake, uncovered, 30 minutes at 350º.
