1 cup chopped bacon
1/4 cup chopped onions (or more)
1/2 cup chopped green peppers
Brown the Above and Add:
2 cups pork and beans
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 Tablespoons Ketchup
3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
This is one recipe and we usually make it 4 or more times for nice size to serve.


For a Crowd:
12 cups bacon (chopped)
6 cups chopped onions
6 cups chopped green peppers
Brown the above and add:
About 24 cans pork and beans (we drained some)
2 bags brown sugar, can reduce or add ad needed
4 1/2 cups Ketchup
5 Tablespoons dry mustard (I used a little less).

Directions:
Directions:
Bake at 350º for 30 minutes.

For larger batch. Simmer at 350º for 2 hours and then on low overnight.

Used this recipe for our daughters weddings and nothing was left. As noted, it has lots of juice which we drain some off, as it does not cook down enough. Several have asked for recipe.
