1 c. sifted self-rising flour
½ c. milk
½ c. buttermilk
1 egg
2 T. clarified butter

Directions:
Directions:
Wisk eggs, buttter, and milks together, and add to flour. Wisk until combined.

Heat the griddle until drops of water sprinkled on it evaporate noisily. Using a towel apply a thin coat of clarified butter to griddle. Pour 1/8 to 1/4 cup batter onto the griddle. Turn over with a spatula when bubbles begin to form on top. Cook second side to a golden brown color.

Mallory and Makenna think I make the best pancakes in the world, don't know about that, but the want them every time they stay with us. They like Mrs. Butterworth syrup on theirs.
