3 tsp. cornstarch level
1/2 c. cold water
3 egg whites
6 tbsp. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cornstarch and water in small saucepan. Cook stirring constantly until clear in appearance. Cool slightly.

Beat egg whites until very stiff, gradually add sugar. Beat until mixture is free from sugar. Gradually beat in slightly cooled cornstarch mixture. Beat until stiff peaks form.

Seal meringue against crust and fill middle. Bake
375º for 12-15 minutes. This makes enough for a 9" pie.
