1 ¼ cup brown sugar
2 cups bread crumbs
2 eggs
1 cup sour milk
1 cup raisins
1 cup currants
2 cups flour (about)
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon ginger
2 teaspoons cinnamon
¼ teaspoon salt

Fill dish not more than 2/3 full. Fix cloth over top, steam for 3 hours. Serve with pudding sauce.
