12 medium sized onions
3 medium sized cabbages
8 red or green sweet peppers (4 of each)
8 large carrots
3 pints vinegar
6 cups sugar
1 teaspoon each of celery and mustard seed

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and prepare vegetables. Cut cabbage, core, and remove seeds from peppers. Put all vegetables through food chopper.
Mix them well, then add ½ cup salt, allow to stand for several hours, then drain thoroughly. Heat the vinegar, sugar, and seeds. Bring to boil, dissolve sugar. Pour over minced vegetables. Sore in stone jar. (Golden coffee bottles are good)
