Base:
2 egg yolks
4 Tbsp. Sugar
2 cups flour
pinch salt
1 cup margarine

Filling:
1 can crushed pineapple
2 Tbsp. Corn starch
¼ cup sugar
¾ chopped cherries
¼ cup water

Topping:
2 egg whites
2 Tbsp. Sugar
almond flavoring
Coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Method: Blend base ingredients and pat in pan.
Bake 350 oven till golden.

Cook-pineapple, sugar, cornstarch, and water until thick. Cool and add cherries. Spread on baked base.

Beat egg whites and sugar until stiff – add flavoring. Spread on filling – sprinkle with coconut. Bake at 350 until meringue is golden brown.
