2 lbs. beef, cut into cubes 2 c. carrots, sliced 1 onion, sliced 1 c. celery, sliced 2 potatoes, peeled and cubed 1 can tomato soup 1 (16oz) can whole tomatoes, not drained 2 T. sugar 3 T. tapioca 1 tsp. salt ¼ tsp. pepper 1 c. peas
Mix raw meat with the rest of the ingredients. Bake at 250ºF for 5 hours or place in crockpot all day. Add peas during final 30 minutes.
This is a family favorite. It can be made ahead and frozen.
