Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Saltine crackers, approximately 30
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
12 ounces chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Oven 400º

1. Line a cookie sheet with sides, or a jelly-roll pan, with aluminum foil. Lay saltines on the foil.
2. In a saucepan dissolve the butter with the sugar, bring to a boil and cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour evenly over the crackers.
3. Bake for exactly 7 minutes. Check the oven temperature for accuracy. Watch closely. If in the last few minutes, the edges of the crackers start to turn very dark, remove immediately (the cookie sheet may be placed on top of a larger one for more even heat distribution)
4. Remove from the oven and sprinkle the surface with the chocolate chips. Place in the oven for 1 more minute. Remove and spread the chocolate with a knife.
5. Put into the freezer for 20 minutes, remove and break into pieces. Store in an air-tight container.
