8 English muffins split
10 ounces of fresh asparagus spears
2/3 cup chicken gravy base
1 1/2 tablespoon minced dried onions
1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
1 dash hot pepper sauce
1 cup water
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 1/2 cups diced cooked chicken

Toast muffins. Roast asparagus until tender. Mix remaining ingredients.

Chicken Gravy Base: 1 1/2 cup nonfat dry milk; 3/4 cup all purpose flour; 3 tablespoons instant chicken bullion; 1/4 teaspoon ground sage; 1/2 cup butter or margarine; 1/8 teaspoon yellow food coloring. Mix and freeze, using as needed.
