1 lbs of lean ground beef (defrosted)
2 cups of ketchup
1 green pepper (finely chopped)
1 onion (finely chopped)
1 tbsp basil
1 tsp cumin
1 tbsp oregano
1 small can of tomato sauce
1 chopped clove of garlic (finally chopped)


1) Brown the beef in a pan and slowly add 1 cup of ketchup while browning. Add peppers and onions
2) In a large sauce pan poor in sauce, garlic and spices and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes
3) Add the beef mixture to the sauce pan and mix all ingredients together. Add the second cup of ketchup.
4) Serve over pasta or as sloppy joes.
