2 cups flour
1 Teaspoon Salt
4 Teaspoons Baking Powder
Teaspoon Pepper
1 egg well beaten
3 Tablespoons Shortening
Approximately 2/3 cups milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients
Add Shortening and cut in
Add Milk to make a moist batter
Drop by teaspoons into boiling liquid
Cover and cook for 18 minutes
Do not remove cover
