2/3 loaf French Bread
6 eggs
3 cups milk
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 TSP Salt
1 TSP vanilla
1/2 cup butter softened
1 cup brown sugar
2 TBSP maple syrup or Dark Karo Syrup
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Grease a 9x 12 or 10x14 pan
Cut bread in thick slices and fill the bottom of the pan
Beat eggs, add milk, sugar, salt and vanilla and pour over the bread
Cover and refrigerant 4 hours or overnight
before baking combine the remaining ingredients and sprinkle over the top
bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes uncovered until puffy and golden brown
*Texas toast can be substituted for the French bread
